About

Daily, one‑fund rotation using leveraged ETFs. Rides tech‑led uptrends (QLD), buys UVXY on overheated spikes, shifts to Treasuries (IEF) or inverse Nasdaq (QID) when trends weaken, and takes brief 2× bounce trades (ROM/SSO) on sharp dips.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if U.S. stocks are in an uptrend: is SPY’s 50‑day average price above its 200‑day (“Golden Cross”)? If yes, it mainly rides a 2× Nasdaq fund (QLD). If QQQ or SPY look overheated on a 0–100 gauge of recent moves (RSI), it briefly buys a volatility fund (UVXY); if heat stays high, it parks in Treasuries (IEF). If not in an uptrend, it buys quick 2× bounces (ROM/SSO) on sharp dips, else holds the stronger of inverse Nasdaq (QID) or Treasuries (IEF), or returns to QLD if the short‑term trend improves. Rebalances daily. Leveraged/volatility ETFs are high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: 25.6% annualized vs 17.5% for the S&P, powered by tech-led uptrends and disciplined leverage. Daily rotations aim for bigger upside, with higher risk (drawdowns ~41.8%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
