About

Own the 2 strongest names (by ~1‑month performance) from a list of big U.S. stocks/ETF. Hold them only if the trend is up and momentum isn’t overheated; otherwise park that slice in short‑term Treasuries. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Daily: 1) Rank these tickers by ~20‑day return: AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, NVDA, TSLA, META, COST, PEP, SPY. Pick the top 2 and split money 50/50. 2) Health checks: price above its 50‑day average (uptrend); RSI (a 0–100 “heat” gauge of momentum) usually between ~45 and 70–80; extra trend tests for some names. 3) If a pick fails, that half goes to SHV/IEI/BIL (short‑term U.S. Treasuries). Recheck daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers superior risk-adjusted returns with lower drawdowns than the S&P 500: Sharpe ~2.11 vs ~1.00, return ~57% vs ~18%, max drawdown ~9.8% vs ~18.8%, Calmar ~5.8, driven by 2-name momentum and Treasury hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
