About

Rules‑based, daily portfolio that buys 3x tech/S&P on dips during uptrends, buys volatility (UVXY) when markets look overheated, and moves to T‑bills/bonds or inverse tech when trends weaken. Adds tactical sleeves in bonds, EM, gold, and managed‑futures.
NutHow it works
Daily checks: (1) Trend (above 200‑day?). (2) Heat via RSI (0–100; high=overheated, low=washed‑out). (3) Recent drops. Uptrend + washed‑out: buy 3x tech/semis/S&P (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/UPRO). Overheated: buy “fear” (UVXY) to catch pullbacks. Weak trend: hold T‑bills/bonds or inverse tech (PSQ/SQQQ). Small sleeves trade bonds (TMF/TMV), EM (EDC/EDZ), gold (UGL/GLL), and managed‑futures (KMLM = trend follower). Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample tested across regimes, this rules-based strategy beats the S&P 500 by riding tech uptrends, hedging spikes with UVXY, and diversifying with bonds, EM, gold, and managed futures—delivering higher risk-adjusted returns with lower drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
