A high-risk stock timing strategy that uses bond-market clues and a volatility safety check to decide how much to hold in 3x S&P 500 and 3x Nasdaq-100 funds, otherwise parking money in short-term T-bills.
NutHow it works
This strategy first asks: “Is the market too panicky?” using UVXY, a fear/volatility fund. If fear is too high, it moves everything to BIL, a cash-like T-bill fund. If fear is normal, it splits attention between the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100. It then looks at how several Treasury bond funds are behaving versus those stock indexes. The more signals that look favorable, the more it buys UPRO and TQQQ, which are aggressive 3x versions of the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100. Unfavorable signals go to BIL instead.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
