About
Daily S&P 500 rotation with a 3‑day 4% safety brake, a 50‑day trend filter, and RSI extremes. It switches among SPYM (core), SPYV (value), SPUU (2x bull), SH (inverse), or USFR (Treasuries).
It times the S&P 500 daily using SPYM (an S&P 500 fund) as a guide. 1) Safety first: if the index dropped ~4% or more over 3 days, it defaults to USFR (short‑term Treasuries). 2) Trend: above its 50‑day average → SPYM; below → SPYV (value tilt). 3) Extremes override both: if momentum is very hot (RSI, a 0–100 “heat meter,” >75) it flips to SH (bet against). If very cold (RSI <25) it buys SPUU (2x bull).
Out-of-sample tested: a daily S&P 500 rotation with crash brake and RSI-driven hedges aims for better risk-adjusted returns than the S&P 500, delivering downside protection in pullbacks and extra upside in rallies through disciplined rules.
