About
Daily, tech‑focused switcher: default to QQQ in calm markets and to T‑Bills after sharp drops; at extremes it flips to 2x long the Magnificent 7 when deeply oversold and to 1x short when overheated.
Each day it picks one fund based on QQQ (a big Nasdaq tech fund). If QQQ’s worst 3‑day drop is ≥4%, the default is BIL (T‑Bills, cash‑like); otherwise the default is QQQ. Then it checks RSI (a “too hot/too cold” gauge of recent buying vs selling): if >70, it buys QQQD (1x short the Magnificent 7). If <30, it buys QQQU (2x long the Magnificent 7). Else it keeps the default. A 50‑day average check is present but doesn’t change the choice.
Out-of-sample edge: about 50.9% annualized return vs the S&P’s ~25.7%, with a higher Sharpe (1.76 vs 1.65) and solid risk control (Calmar ~5.85; drawdowns ~8.69%). A rules-based, tech-tilted strategy that rotates to cash/hedges when stressed, boosting risk-adjusted growth.
