About

Daily gold-timing strategy: at extreme strength it goes 2x short (GLL), at extreme weakness 2x long (UGL). Otherwise holds GLDM—or BIL (T‑bills) when gold’s recent drawdown is large.
NutHow it works
Each day it looks at gold via GLDM (a gold ETF). If gold’s recent drop is under 4%: - GLL (2x short gold) if RSI > 80 (very hot) - UGL (2x long) if RSI < 30 (very weak) - else GLDM. If the drop is 4%+, the “neutral” hold becomes BIL (T‑bills) instead of GLDM, and triggers ease to 79/31. RSI is a 0–100 gauge of how stretched recent moves are.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample tested: a daily gold-timing rule that shifts 2x long/short at extremes and moves to cash in stress. Designed for downside protection and selective upside, with lower correlation to the S&P 500 and clearer risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
