About
A daily, gold‑driven strategy that usually holds GLDM, buys dips with 2x gold (UGL), shorts overheated calm markets (GLL), or steps into long Treasuries with option income (TLTW) when gold is too hot and jumpy.
Tickers used: GLDM=gold fund; UGL=2x daily long gold; GLL=−2x daily short gold; TLTW=long‑term US Treasuries with options income.
Daily: look at GLDM. If a 3‑day drop >4%: buy UGL if gold looks oversold (RSI<30; RSI gauges how “hot/cold” moves are on a 0–100 scale); short with GLL if it’s overbought but calm (RSI>80 and low volatility; volatility = how bouncy returns are); otherwise hold GLDM. If no big drop: if overbought and jumpy (RSI>79, high volatility), park in TLTW; if oversold, buy UGL; else hold GLDM.
Dynamic gold/bonds sleeve diversifies away from the S&P using GLDM/UGL/GLL/TLTW rotations, aiming to dampen volatility and protect during stress; however OOS data show higher drawdowns—best as a tactical sleeve, not core.
