About
A fast-moving strategy that makes all-in bets on leveraged tech, market fear, bearish Nasdaq exposure, or short-term bonds based on long-term trend and very recent market momentum.
Each day, the strategy checks whether TQQQ (a turbo-charged fund tied to big tech stocks like Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, and Google) is above or below its 200-day average price.
If it’s above, it usually buys TQQQ. But if TQQQ has risen too fast recently, it switches to UVXY, a fund that tends to jump when market fear spikes.
If TQQQ is below its 200-day average, the strategy looks for either a sharp rebound in tech (buy TECL), or else it picks between short-term bonds (BSV) and a fund that profits when the Nasdaq falls (SQQQ).
Out-of-sample edge vs the S&P: ~55% annualized return, Sharpe ~1.05, Calmar ~1.24. Higher max drawdowns, but substantially greater upside from tech-focused, tactical bets—making it attractive for risk-tolerant growth seekers.
