About

A daily, rules-based tech strategy. It rides uptrends with 3× Nasdaq/Tech, flips to volatility if things look too hot, and in downtrends either shorts tech or hides in short-term bonds—using a 200‑day trend filter and short-term RSI triggers.
NutHow it works
Checks TQQQ (3× Nasdaq-100) daily. - If above its 200‑day average (long‑term uptrend): hold TQQQ, unless its 10‑day RSI (0–100 heat gauge) >79; then switch to UVXY (tends to jump when fear spikes). - If below: if RSI <31 (washed‑out), buy TECL (3× Tech) for a bounce; otherwise hold the higher‑RSI of SQQQ (3× short Nasdaq‑100) or BSV (short‑term bonds). High risk; trades daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~66% annualized return vs ~20% S&P, Sharpe ~1.18, Calmar ~1.48. Higher drawdowns (~45%) exist, but adaptive regime shifts aim for big tech gains and alpha vs the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
