About
A daily, rules‑based portfolio that replaces a simple S&P 500 core with a risk‑managed “2007” trend system, adds bond/volatility/commodity sleeves, steps to cash or hedges when markets look hot or weak, and buys dips in tech, bonds, and gold.
It’s a rule‑based, daily strategy. If the S&P 500 is in a long‑term uptrend, it runs a “2007” trend playbook: cool off to T‑bills when things look hot, buy dips in tech/bonds/gold when things look cold, and otherwise stay invested. If trends weaken, it shifts to cash or light shorts. If the S&P breaks its uptrend, it switches to bear‑market hedges. RSI is a speedometer: >70 hot, <30 cold.
A rules-based, risk-managed strategy uses trend filters and multi-asset hedges to lower drawdowns (out-of-sample max drawdown ~11.5% vs SPY ~18.8%), while buying dips in tech, bonds and gold for steadier, risk-adjusted growth.
