About

Checks if the Nasdaq is in an uptrend. In uptrends it holds QQQ unless things look overheated, when it shifts to volatility (UVXY) or Treasuries (IEF). In downtrends it buys dips or goes defensive (PSQ or IEF). Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Is the Nasdaq trend healthy? (Is the recent 50‑day average above the 200‑day?) If yes: if the market looks very “hot,” it briefly buys UVXY (tends to jump when markets panic); else if still hot, it parks in IEF (7–10Y Treasuries); otherwise it holds QQQ (big‑tech index). If the trend is weak: if things look very “cold,” it buys QQQ or SPY for a bounce; else if the short‑term trend is down, it picks PSQ (goes up when QQQ falls) or IEF—whichever is stronger; otherwise QQQ. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adaptive, rules-based strategy diversifying across QQQ, SPY, IEF, PSQ and UVXY to ride uptrends and hedge volatility. Out-of-sample: ~10.8% annualized return, ~0.57 Sharpe, max drawdown ~22.8%. A disciplined diversification boost to an S&P core.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
