About

A simple daily trend switch for bitcoin exposure: when BITO’s short-term average beats its long-term average, go 100% BITO. Otherwise, rotate equally into Treasuries (IEF, TLT) and metals (GLD, SLV) to seek defense during weak bitcoin trends.
NutHow it works
Each day, compare BITO’s 5‑day average price to its 100‑day average. If the 5‑day is higher, the strategy goes “risk on” and invests 100% in BITO. If not, it goes “risk off” and splits evenly into IEF (Treasuries), GLD (gold), SLV (silver), and TLT (long Treasuries).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets higher growth with balanced risk: ~41% annualized return vs SPY ~18%, Sharpe ~1.06, Calmar ~1.45, powered by BITO on uptrends and a diversified risk-off hedge.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
