About

Daily rotation using QQQ’s RSI and SPY’s trend to switch between VT (global stocks), GLD (gold), TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100), or VXX (volatility): buy sharp dips, hedge after frothy rallies, and hold stocks otherwise.
NutHow it works
Each day it holds one fund. It reads QQQ’s 10‑day RSI (a 0–100 “heat” score of recent moves; QQQ = tech‑heavy Nasdaq‑100). If RSI > 79 (very hot), it buys VXX (short‑term bet on market volatility). If RSI < 32 (very cold), it buys TQQQ (3× QQQ; very aggressive). Otherwise it checks trend: if SPY (S&P 500) is below its 200‑day average, go defensive—GLD (gold) if QQQ is below its 20‑day average, else VT (global stocks). If SPY is above trend, hold VT.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this daily-rotation strategy beats the S&P on risk-adjusted returns: 37.50% vs 29.09% annualized; Sharpe ~3.05 vs ~2.47; max drawdown ~5.0% vs ~5.07%; Calmar ~7.51. Stronger growth with controlled downside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
