About

Daily, rules‑based switches: VXX when QQQ is overheated, TQQQ when deeply oversold; otherwise hold VT (global stocks), shifting to GLD when the S&P 500 is in a downtrend and QQQ is weak.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks the Nasdaq‑100 (QQQ). If its short‑term “heat meter” (10‑day RSI) is very high (>79), it buys VXX (a volatility product) expecting a pullback. If very low (<32), it buys TQQQ (3× QQQ) for a rebound. Otherwise it holds VT (global stocks)—unless the S&P 500 (SPY) is below its 200‑day average; then, if QQQ is also below its 20‑day average, it parks in GLD (gold), else stays in VT.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~37.5% annualized return vs SPY 29.1%, Sharpe ~3.05 vs 2.47, Calmar ~7.51, lower max drawdown ~4.99% vs 5.07%, beta ~0.94—strong growth with controlled risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
