This strategy watches QQQ, a fund that tracks the Nasdaq-100 (big growth stocks like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Tesla). It uses a 10-day RSI, which simply measures whether prices have moved up or down unusually fast lately. If QQQ looks very overheated, it moves everything to BIL, a very short-term U.S. Treasury fund that behaves like a cash parking spot. If QQQ looks very beaten down, it buys QLD, a fund that aims to move about 2x the Nasdaq-100 each day. Otherwise, it spreads money evenly across four more defensive areas: consumer staples, utilities, health care, and long-term Treasury bonds.
