About

A rules-based Nasdaq strategy: ride uptrends with QQQ/TQQQ; flip to hedges (PSQ/SQQQ) or volatility (UVXY) when markets look overheated, fearful, or trend weak. Bond and commodity signals set the risk regime to avoid major drawdowns.
NutHow it works
Goal: ride Nasdaq rallies, cut big drops. - Core: hold QQQ or 3x QQQ (TQQQ). - Uses RSI as a “hot/cold” gauge (high=overheated, low=washed‑out): overheated → hedge/short (PSQ=short QQQ, SQQQ=3x short; UVXY=fear hedge). Oversold → buy the dip if bonds/risk signals agree. - Bond trend (TLT 200‑day), stock trend (SPY), and commodity/volatility cues set risk‑on/off. Big one‑day pops/drops also trigger flips.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return: ~71.7%/yr vs S&P ~25%; solid risk-adjusted (Calmar ~1.93) despite larger drawdowns (~37% vs ~19%). Regime-based hedges ride Nasdaq rallies and cut losses in fear, offering much higher upside with managed risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
