About

A fast, tech‑heavy trading approach that rides Nasdaq uptrends (QQQ/TQQQ) and quickly flips to hedges (PSQ/SQQQ or UVXY) when markets look overheated or weak, using trend and “hot/cold” gauges plus bond and semiconductor checks. High risk due to leverage.
NutHow it works
It tries to ride big tech when the wind is at its back and step aside when risk looks high. If the S&P 500 is in an uptrend and not “too hot,” it buys QQQ or the 3x version (TQQQ). If prices look overheated or drop fast, it flips to inverse QQQ (PSQ/SQQQ) or a volatility fund (UVXY). Bonds and semiconductors act as cross‑checks. It usually holds one ETF at a time. Leverage makes this high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~75% annualized return with ~1.23 Sharpe and ~2.01 Calmar. Nasdaq-led gains with rapid hedging and disciplined single-ETF bets—higher upside vs. the S&P 500 with defined risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
