About

Buy 3× tech (TECL) only when a 10‑day weakness signal on TQQQ says tech is oversold (<31 RSI). Otherwise sit in SHV (cash‑like Treasuries). Checked daily. Tries to buy tech dips and avoid chop; very high risk when in TECL.
NutHow it works
Each day, it checks a quick strength/weakness score (RSI) for TQQQ, a fund that moves about 3× the Nasdaq‑100 (big U.S. tech). RSI runs 0–100; low means recent losses have dominated. If the 10‑day RSI is very low (<31 = oversold), it buys TECL, another 3× tech fund, to try to catch a rebound. Otherwise it holds SHV, a short‑term Treasury fund (cash‑like). Rebalanced daily; TECL can swing a lot.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside with a disciplined tech tilt: 32.45% annualized vs 22.21% S&P; Calmar ~1.38. Daily RSI-triggered TECL entries with SHV hedge aim for big rebounds while keeping risk in check.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
