About

A daily, RSI-driven binary rotation: if TQQQ’s 10-day RSI < 31, go all-in TECL (3x tech); else go all-in SHV (short-term Treasuries); rebalance daily. High-conviction, levered tech vs. bonds tilt.
NutHow it works
RSI stands for Relative Strength Index. It’s a momentum gauge that looks at how much and how quickly prices have moved up or down over a recent window. Here’s how the strategy uses it: - It looks at TQQQ’s price over the last 10 trading days to compute a 10-day RSI. - If that RSI value is below 31, the strategy buys TECL (all-in; 100% of capital). - If the RSI value is 31 or higher, the strategy buys SHV instead (all-in; 100% of capital). - The portfolio is rebalanced every trading day, resetting to the chosen asset based on the daily RSI signal. - Outcome: a binary, high-conviction position in either a leveraged tech ETF (TECL) or a short-term Treasury ETF (SHV), with no exposure to both at once and little diversification beyond these two instruments.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return: 32.5% vs 22.2% S&P 500. Calmar ~1.38 signals strong risk-adjusted gains; drawdown ~23.5% (higher than SPY). The strategy captures tech upside via disciplined, daily RSI-driven rotation TECL/SHV.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
