About

Rules-driven, daily strategy that rides leveraged Nasdaq/semiconductor ETFs in calm uptrends and buys big dips, but shifts to hedges (inverse ETFs, volatility, dollar, or short Treasuries) when fear spikes. Very aggressive and concentrated.
NutHow it works
Daily checks trend (is the S&P 500 above its 200โ€‘day average?) and fear (UVXY โ€œheatโ€). If calm and trending up, it rides growth: TQQQ (3x Nasdaq) and SOXL (3x semis), buying sharp 1โ€“5 day dips. If jumpy or trending down, it cuts risk and hedges with SQQQ/SOXS (inverse), UVXY/VIXM (volatility), UUP (US dollar), or Treasuries (SHY/BSV/TLT). It may pick the strongest 3x sector (TECL/ERX/LABU/UTSL/DRN).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, a risk-managed, regime-aware sleeve: Sharpe ~0.37 with ~3.85% annualized return. It diversifies and hedges to dampen volatility versus the S&P 500, but carries higher drawdown risk in extreme markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesnโ€™t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
