About

A daily trend‑following plan: if the S&P 500 is above its 100‑day average, hold small‑cap value, leveraged Nasdaq‑100, leveraged long Treasuries, and gold; otherwise shift to a 50/50 mix of gold and long‑term Treasuries.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 100‑day average price (the average of the last 100 days). If yes: 10% AVUV (US small, cheaper stocks), 23.34% TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100), 33.33% TMF (3× long US Treasuries), 33.33% GLD (gold). If no: 50% GLD and 50% TLT (unlevered long US Treasuries). Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~55% annualized return vs SPY ~36%; Sharpe ~2.68; Calmar ~6.82. A risk-on/risk-off strategy that leverages Nasdaq-100 and small-cap value on uptrends, hedged with gold and Treasuries for disciplined, high upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
