About

Daily trend-following: if SPY is above its 100‑day average, hold small‑cap value, 3x Nasdaq‑100, 3x long Treasuries, and gold; otherwise hold 50/50 gold and long Treasuries. Rebalances daily; leveraged ETFs mean big swings.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 100‑day average price (the average of the last 100 trading days). If above: hold AVUV 10% (US small, cheaper stocks), TQQQ 23.34% (3x Nasdaq‑100, very volatile), TMF 33.33% (3x long US Treasuries), GLD 33.33% (gold). If not: hold 50% GLD and 50% TLT (long US Treasuries, not leveraged). Rebalances daily. Aim: aggressive in uptrends, defensive in downtrends.
CheckmarkValue prop
Outperform SPY with higher upside and solid risk-adjusted returns. OOS annualized return 55% vs 36%, Calmar ~6.8, Sharpe ~2.68, beta ~0.82. Trend-following mix of small-cap value, tech momentum, gold and Treasuries for growth with diversification.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
