About

Aggressive, rules-based trader riding or shorting semiconductor swings with 3x ETFs, adding hedges when the S&P 500 looks extreme, plus small TSLA/Bitcoin and defensive cash/blue‑chip sleeves. Very high risk and turnover.
NutHow it works
It uses semiconductors as the market’s thermometer. When the chip ETF (SOXX) looks overheated (high RSI), it flips bearish via 3x inverse semis (SOXS) or volatility funds (UVXY/VIXY). When washed out (low RSI), it buys 3x semis (SOXL). If the S&P 500 looks extreme, it briefly hedges with gold (UGL), shorts (SH/PSQ), or T‑Bills (BIL). A small sleeve toggles TSLA/MSTR vs cash/income (JEPQ). A defensive sleeve parks in Costco/UnitedHealth unless risk rises.
CheckmarkValue prop
Aim for higher growth by actively trading semis with hedges. Out-of-sample annualized return ~38.9% vs SPY ~20.4%, with Calmar ~1.16. Expect bigger swings but meaningful upside; hedges help, though drawdowns can exceed SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
