About

Aggressive, tactical strategy that flips between 3x semiconductor bull (SOXL) and bear (SOXS) using a simple overbought/oversold gauge, with hedges in volatility or cash-like assets. A small sleeve also trades TSLA and a Bitcoin proxy.
NutHow it works
It’s a fast trader that mostly rides semiconductors both up and down using turbo ETFs: SOXL (3x up) or SOXS (3x down). It reads a 0–100 heat gauge of buying/selling (RSI): low=cold, high=hot, taken from SOXX (a standard chip ETF) but executed with the 3x funds. Cold chips → SOXL; hot chips → SOXS. When the S&P 500 looks overheated it may buy volatility (UVXY/VIXY) or move to cash‑like T‑Bills (BIL) or gold (UGL). A small sleeve also swings Tesla (TSLA) and a Bitcoin proxy (MicroStrategy, MSTR).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~42% annualized return vs SPY ~20%, via a tactical 3x semis system with RSI signals and hedges. Calmar ~1.25, Sharpe ~0.94—strong risk-adjusted gains despite higher volatility and drawdowns. Ideal for aggressive growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
