About

Aggressive, rules-based trader that swings long/short semiconductors with 3x ETFs using a short-term “heat” signal, then pivots to hedges (volatility, gold, or market shorts) when markets look hot. Small sleeves in Costco/UNH and TSLA+Bitcoin proxy. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-driven swing trader. The core bets ride or short semiconductor stocks using 3x funds (SOXL long, SOXS short) based on a short-term “heat meter” called RSI (0–100: high = ran up fast, low = sold off). When the S&P 500 looks overheated, it shifts to hedges: short real estate (DRV), short the market (SH/PSQ), gold (UGL), or volatility (UVXY/VIXY). Small sleeves park in Costco/UNH or T‑Bills, and a TSLA+Bitcoin proxy sleeve toggles risk on/off. Expect big swings.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return ~38.9% vs SPY ~20.4%, Calmar ~1.16. Higher upside and risk-adjusted edge, but deeper drawdowns (~33.6% vs ~18.8%) and more volatility. Great for risk-tolerant investors seeking big gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
