About

90% sits in T‑Bills. The other 10% is a tactical “YOLO” sleeve: buys a volatility fund when markets are overheated, buys 3× bull funds when oversold, and otherwise flips between 3× long/short Nasdaq using trend and a 60‑day loss guardrail.
NutHow it works
90% stays in short‑term U.S. Treasuries (cash‑like). 10% is an aggressive sleeve that reacts to short‑term “streak” readings: if the market/major sectors look extremely hot over ~10 days, it buys a volatility fund that jumps when stocks fall. If they look extremely cold, it buys 3× bull funds tied to tech/semis/S&P 500. Otherwise it switches among 3× long Nasdaq, 3× short Nasdaq, or a partial short + T‑Bills using a 200‑day trend, short‑term trend checks, and a rule to sit in T‑Bills after a big recent drop.
CheckmarkValue prop
Two-sleeve approach: 90% in Treasuries for stability; 10% tactical sleeve shifts to 3x longs, inverse Nasdaq, or VXX. Out-of-sample: Sharpe 1.96 vs 1.10, Calmar 2.93, max drawdown 4.8% vs 18.8%. Lower risk, risk-adjusted growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
