About

A tactical, rules‑based switch that rotates among semiconductors, big tech leaders, the US dollar, gold, commodities, or inverse/volatility hedges using simple “hot/cold” and trend checks from stocks and bonds.
NutHow it works
It switches between two playbooks based on recent stress. Inside, money is split three ways: (1) Follow or fade the US dollar trend; (2) Use bonds and an S&P “hot/cold” gauge to go semis/gold or inverse ETFs; (3) A small COST/UNH sleeve that bails to T‑bills in crashes. Tickers in plain English: UUP/USDU=$; BIL=T‑bills; IEF/SHY=US Treasuries; SPY=S&P 500; VTI=total US stocks; SOXL/SMH/ SOXS=semiconductors (3x long/1x/3x short); DBC=commodities; UGL=2x gold; SH/PSQ=short S&P/Nasdaq; VIXM=volatility; TECL/TNA/SPXL=3x bull ETFs; COST/UNH=quality stocks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~52% annualized return vs SPY ~15%; Sharpe ~1.21 vs ~0.87; Calmar ~3.20; max drawdown ~16.3% vs ~18.8%. A rules-based tactical rotation across leaders and hedges for stronger, smoother upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
