About

Rules-based, daily system. When markets look overheated it moves to T‑Bills; when they look washed‑out it buys 3× tech/semis for rebounds. In chop it shifts to managed‑futures or commodities. Heavy tech bias, high turnover, high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads a simple “hot/cold” gauge (RSI: 0–100; high=too hot, low=too cold) on the market and sectors. - Too hot: park in cash‑like T‑Bills (BIL/SHV) or defensive BTAL. - Too cold: buy 3× tech/semis for rebounds (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL); sometimes 3× shorts (SQQQ/TECS) in downtrends. - Choppy: use managed‑futures (KMLM/DBMF) or gold/oil/nat‑gas (GLD/DBO/FCG). Rebalances daily; high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~2.74 vs SPY ~2.52, oos return ~147%, Calmar ~8.45. It hedges to T-bills in heat, accelerates on dips in tech/semis, and adds managed-futures for superior risk-adjusted upside vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
