About

Daily rules to aim for a high win rate: step into T‑bills when stocks are overheated, buy dips in 3× tech when oversold, rotate otherwise. Replaces risky VIX bets with cash‑like funds and can use managed‑futures during choppy markets.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks momentum using RSI (a 0–100 gauge of how “hot/cold” a move is) and trend lines. If markets look very hot (RSI ~80+), it parks in T‑bills (BIL/SHV). If very cold (~30−), it buys the dip in 3× tech/semis (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). In between it rotates bull/bear funds using bonds‑vs‑stocks strength and 200‑day trends. In choppy periods it can switch to managed‑futures (KMLM/DBMF).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy outperforms the S&P on risk-adjusted return: Sharpe ~2.74 vs 2.59; annualized ~131% vs ~30%; Calmar ~7.5. It guards downside with T-bills in heat and uses managed futures in chop, chasing tech/semis gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
