About

A daily rules-based “risk‑on/risk‑off” switcher: ride tech/semiconductor uptrends, buy dips, and defend with T‑Bills, Treasuries, dollar, inverse or VIX funds. Uses a simple hot/cold gauge (RSI) and KMLM, a trend‑following fund, to read market conditions.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if markets are trending up or down and whether they look overheated or washed‑out (a simple “hot/cold” gauge called RSI). In calm uptrends it tilts to fast tech/semis funds. If momentum fades or volatility jumps, it shifts to cash‑like T‑Bills, Treasuries, the US dollar, or bear funds. In shocks it can use VIX funds. It also uses KMLM (a trend‑following fund) as a cross‑market weather vane.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~121% annualized return, Calmar 4.32, Sharpe 2.33. Regime-switching tech bets with Treasuries/dollar hedges aim for higher upside vs the S&P’s ~28% return, with disciplined risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
