A very aggressive market-timing strategy that usually bets on leveraged tech and chip funds, but can quickly flip into bearish funds, bonds, or volatility products when markets look extreme or risky.

This strategy splits money in half between two trading systems. Most of the time it tries to own very aggressive funds tied to big U.S. tech, semiconductors, or the S&P 500. When the market looks too overheated, too panicky, or bond-market signals turn negative, it can switch into bets against stocks, long-term bonds, or “fear” products like VXX. In short: it constantly asks, “Should I bet hard on tech rising, tech falling, bonds, or market fear?”

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
