About

A rules-based, high-octane risk-on/risk-off strategy: ride 3x tech/semis in uptrends; in stress, pivot to volatility funds, Treasuries, gold, staples, or short Nasdaq. Regime set by SPY vs 200‑day; RSI (a 0–100 heat gauge) times entries/exits.
NutHow it works
Step 1: If SPY is above its 200‑day average → bull; else bear. Bull: ~91% tactical + ~9% GLD/SPY. Bear: ~81% tactical + ~19% BIL/GLD/TLT. Step 2 (tactical): hold 3x equity funds when trend is healthy; if things look overheated or plunge (RSI = a 0–100 “heat” gauge), switch to volatility, long bonds, defensive stocks, or go short. Often defaults to 80% UPRO/20% TQQQ. Tickers: SPY(S&P), QQQ(Nasdaq), UPRO/TQQQ/TECL/SOXL(3x long), SQQQ/PSQ(short), UVXY/VIXY(vol), TLT/TMF(bonds), GLD(gold), BIL(bills), XLP(staples).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, a regime-switching strategy that leverages tech in uptrends and pivots to volatility, Treasuries, or gold in stress—designed for higher risk-adjusted returns and lower drawdowns versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
