About

Rules-based, high‑octane switcher: rides tech/semiconductor booms with 3x ETFs, then flips to volatility/inverse funds or bonds when markets look overheated or weak. Uses trend+RSI. Small sleeves in T‑bills, gold, Treasuries. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
First it checks trend: is the S&P 500 (SPY) above its 200‑day average? If yes, it mostly rides 3x tech/semiconductor funds (SOXL, TQQQ, TECL, UPRO). If prices look overheated (RSI—a 0–100 hot‑vs‑cold meter—very high) or after sudden drops, it briefly flips to volatility funds (UVXY/VIXY) or long bonds (TMF). In downtrends it hedges more (UVXY/VIXY, SQQQ) or uses gold/staples. ~3% each sits in T‑bills (BIL), gold (GLD), and Treasuries (TLT).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample data not provided; strategy aims to beat the S&P 500 by riding tech/semiconductor upswings with 3x ETFs, then hedging with volatility/bonds and a ballast. Higher upside, but significantly higher risk and drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
