About

A regime-switching, dip-buying strategy: in uptrends it rides tech/semis with 3x ETFs, but during panics it flips to volatility; in downtrends it parks in T‑bills, Treasuries, and gold, with occasional short-QQQ—timed by trend lines and an RSI heat gauge.
NutHow it works
1) Decide regime: If the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average price (a long‑term trend line), it’s “bull”; otherwise “bear.” 2) Bull: Mostly own leveraged stock funds (SOXL=chipmakers x3, UPRO=SPY x3, TQQQ=Nasdaq x3) plus small SPY/GLD. It buys dips when RSI (0–100 heat gauge; low=washed‑out, high=overheated) is very low; if fear spikes (UVXY/VIX), it briefly owns UVXY. 3) Bear: Go defensive in BIL (T‑bills), TLT/TMF (long Treasuries), GLD, and sometimes short QQQ (PSQ/QID).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample tests show this regime-switching, dip-buying strategy outperforming the S&P 500 on a risk-adjusted basis: it rides tech leadership in uptrends and shields capital in panics with Treasuries, gold, cash, and selective volatility hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
