About

Daily switches between 3x long (SOXL) and 3x short (SOXS) semiconductors. Uses SOXX’s RSI and 1‑day move: shorts when conditions look “too hot,” otherwise stays long. Very high risk due to 3x leverage.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks a 3x bull (SOXL) or 3x bear (SOXS) fund tied to semiconductor stocks. It reads SOXX (the regular semiconductor ETF) as a thermometer: RSI (a 0–100 heat score of recent up vs down days) and yesterday’s % move. Rules: if RSI(3) ≥ 87 → bear. Else if 1‑day > +2.5%: RSI(2) ≥ 59 → bear, else bull. Else: RSI(10) > 76 → bear, else bull. 3x funds are very risky and can swing sharply.
CheckmarkValue prop
High-upside semis exposure with out-of-sample strength: ~26% annualized return vs SPY ~16%, plus solid risk-adjusted edge (Sharpe ~0.76). Note: potential for large drawdowns; suitable for risk-tolerant, satellite exposure to tech/AI cycles.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
