About

A fast, daily tactical strategy that swing‑trades 3x tech/semiconductor ETFs, flips short or into volatility when markets look “too hot,” and uses bond and commodity signals plus the 200‑day trend to switch between offense and defense.
NutHow it works
Daily, rule-based swing trader. It reads “hot/cold” via RSI (how fast price just moved), checks bonds (short vs long Treasuries) and SPY vs its 200‑day average, then: - Offense: buy dips in 3x tech/semis (SOXL, TQQQ, TECL, UPRO). - Defense: short/hedge (SOXS, SQQQ) or hold Treasuries/cash (TMF/TMV, BIL/SHY). - If too “hot” or after big up days, buy volatility (UVXY). - If commodities/US$ lead, tilt to oil, gold, dollar, EM.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, regime-driven strategy targets substantially higher upside than the S&P by rotating into leveraged tech/semis and hedging with bonds/volatility. Annualized return ~43% vs ~21% for the S&P, but with larger drawdowns (~72% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
