A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A tactical, high‑risk strategy that rotates among leveraged tech, inverse/volatility hedges, and macro defenses. It uses simple “heat gauges” (RSI, trend, bonds/dollar/commodities) to sell rips, buy deep dips with confirmation, and adapt to inflation shocks.
NutHow it works
Rules‑based and fast. It reads market “heat gauges”: - RSI (0–100) = how overbought/oversold prices are. - Long‑term trend of the S&P 500, plus checks on bonds, the U.S. dollar, and commodities. If markets run hot, it hedges with volatility (UVXY/VIXY) or inverse funds (SQQQ/SOXS). If washed out—and bonds confirm—it buys leveraged tech/semis (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). With inflation stress it favors oil, dollar, gold, or short long Treasuries (TMV). High risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Rules-based tactical sleeve: leveraged tech exposure with volatility/ inverse hedges. Diversifies beyond SPY and aims to profit in inflation shocks. OOS: ~20% vs SPY ~23.7%; but higher drawdowns and lower risk-adjusted return.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
