A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A fast, rules‑driven, very aggressive rotation that rides 3x tech/semis when risk is on, flips to volatility/inverse funds when markets look overheated, and seeks safety in bonds, the US dollar, or commodities when risk turns off.
NutHow it works
It watches three things: trend, temperature, and confirmation. Trend: is the S&P 500 rising or falling, and are commodities leading? Temperature: is the move too hot/cold (RSI = how stretched prices are)? Confirmation: do bonds and the US dollar agree? Risk‑on: ride 3x tech/chips (TQQQ, SOXL). Overheated: fade with volatility/bear funds (UVXY, SQQQ). Risk‑off: shift to bonds (TMF/TMV), dollar (UUP), gold/oil. Often 100% in one pick; very aggressive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic regime-rotator using 3x levered tech exposure, volatility hedges, bonds and the dollar. Out-of-sample annualized return ~20% with Calmar ~0.32; aims to diversify SPY and perform in volatile, regime-shifting markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
