About

Aggressive rules-based ETF strategy. It rides semiconductor ETFs up or down using simple “heat” scores and bond‑vs‑stock signals, then parks in cash, dollar, gold, or sectors when unclear. Uses leveraged ETFs; expect sharp moves.
NutHow it works
It’s a fast, rules-based rotator. Core idea: ride semiconductors up (SOXL) when conditions look risk‑on, flip short (SOXS) when they look overheated. Signals use RSI (a 0–100 “heat” gauge of recent price speed), simple trends, and bond‑vs‑stock strength. If signals are mixed, it parks in T‑bills (BIL), US dollar (UUP/USDU), gold (UGL), commodities (DBC), or sector funds (XLY/XLV). A small sleeve tilts to consumer/healthcare when calm.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy aims for ~42.6% annualized returns vs the S&P's ~23%; backed by a Calmar of ~1.76 for strong risk-adjusted upside. Expect higher drawdowns (~24%) but built-in hedges (cash, USD, gold) help mitigate risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
