About
A fast, rules‑based ETF trader using short‑term “hot vs cold” signals from stocks, bonds, and the dollar. It mainly swings into semiconductors (3x up/down), cash, gold, and small sector tilts. Very aggressive and high risk.
It splits money across a core engine and two quick triggers. It uses simple “heat gauges”: RSI (a ~2‑week score of how hot/cold price is), moving averages (trend), volatility, and bond‑vs‑cash strength. It then flips among semiconductors (SOXL 3x up or SOXS 3x down), cash‑like T‑Bills, gold, the U.S. dollar, broad commodities, and small sector tilts. Overheated semis → short; bonds stronger than risky stocks → sometimes buy semis for a bounce.
Out-of-sample edge: 42.7% annualized return, Calmar 1.76, and Sharpe ~1.19 with positive alpha, vs SPY. Higher drawdowns, but dynamic semis/tactical sleeves aim for superior upside in rallies.
