About

A rules-based ETF strategy that mostly rides semiconductor trends, flips short if they look too hot, and uses bonds, dollar, and S&P “hot/cold” cues to park in gold, commodities, or T‑bills. Includes small consumer/healthcare tilts. Uses leveraged ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
About 80% rides simple signals: dollar trend, bond strength vs cash, and whether the S&P 500 looks hot or cold. That sleeve flips among semiconductors, gold, commodities, and T‑bills, with a small XLY/XLV overlay. The other ~20% is a semiconductor swing: short semis if they look too hot; otherwise go long semis when bonds look stronger than high‑beta stocks; else fall back to the core rules.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~42.7% annualized return vs 22.6% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.76. A dynamic ETF-rotation strategy blending semis, gold, dollar, bonds, and cash to capture trends and boost risk-adjusted returns beyond the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
