About

Rules-based ETF strategy that chases semiconductor trends, fades extremes, and uses bonds to gauge risk. Falls back to T‑Bills, dollar, gold, or sector ETFs when trends weaken. High risk due to 2x/3x and inverse funds.
NutHow it works
RSI = 0–100 “hot/cold” meter of recent buying/selling. It mainly rides chip stocks (SOXL) unless too hot (then short via SOXS). Very hot S&P → short stint in gold (UGL). Washed‑out S&P → use bonds to pick bull vs bear in chips. Otherwise hold T‑Bills (BIL), dollar (UUP) or commodities (DBC), plus a small Consumer/Healthcare sleeve.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tactical semiconductor strategy targets ~41% annualized returns vs SPY's ~29%, backed by risk controls (bonds, USD, gold, cash) and a Calmar ~1.64. Higher drawdowns are the price for bigger upside in tech regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
