About

An aggressive, daily switcher. In calm uptrends it rides 3x tech/semis; when markets get “too hot,” it hedges with volatility or inverse ETFs; when conditions worsen or inflation bites, it rotates to bond trades (TMF/TMV) and defensive assets. High risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: 1) Big trend healthy or weak (S&P vs long-term average; are bonds rising or falling)? 2) Is the market “too hot” or “too cold” short term? If healthy and not overheated, it rides growth/semis with 3x ETFs (TQQQ/SOXL/TECL/UPRO). If overheated, it hedges with volatility (UVXY) or inverse ETFs (SQQQ/SOXS/TECS). If weak, it flips to inverse stocks and/or bonds: TMF if yields fall, TMV if they rise. Oil/commodities (UCO/DBC) and the dollar (UUP) guide defense.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic regime-driven strategy rides tech uptrends, hedges with volatility/inverse ETFs when overheated, and rotates to bonds on rate shifts. Aims to diversify and reduce SPY correlation, offering downside protection, though OOS shows drawdowns and negative returns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
