About

A daily, semiconductor‑focused, high‑risk strategy. It rides chip stocks with 3x leverage (SOXL), flips to the 3x short (SOXS) or adds volatility/Treasury hedges after sharp moves or overheated/oversold signals. Big upside potential, big drawdowns.
NutHow it works
Daily it checks market “fear” (a volatility fund, UVXY), the long‑term trend, and how far chip stocks (SMH) just jumped. If calm and uptrend: ride chips with a 3x bull fund (SOXL). After huge up days or “too hot” readings (RSI = lots of up days vs down days), flip to the 3x bear (SOXS) or add hedges (short‑term Treasuries or a volatility fund). If fear rises or trend breaks, it gets defensive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets larger upside in semiconductors with tactical hedges. About 27.7% annualized return vs SPY’s 23.8%, but higher drawdowns (65.6% vs ~18.8%). Risk-adjusted Sharpe ~0.68—positive, but suited for risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
