About

A rules‑based, high‑octane strategy centered on semiconductors. It buys dips, fades rips, and uses bond/volatility signals to switch between 3x bull, 3x bear, or hedges (UVXY/TMF/TMV). Potentially huge gains, but very large drawdowns.
NutHow it works
It hunts big swings in chip stocks. It watches SMH (a semiconductor fund): big down day → buy SOXL (3x long chips); big up day → buy SOXS (3x short chips), sometimes 30% in SHY (T‑Bills). It also reads the S&P’s “heat” and bond trends: calm/uptrend → hold the strongest 3x tech (TQQQ/TECL); extreme moves → hedge with UVXY (a “fear” fund) or flip short. If rates fall it prefers TMF; if they rise, TMV. Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return: 28.4% vs 23.5% for the S&P; a semis-driven, tactical strategy aimed at bigger upside. Expect higher volatility and drawdowns (~58% vs ~19%), suitable for risk-tolerant, long-horizon investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
