About

A daily, high‑octane, semiconductor‑focused strategy. It rides 3x tech/semis when trends are up, flips into UVXY on overheated spikes, and uses inverse or Treasury funds in risk‑off regimes. Extremely high risk with very large swings.
NutHow it works
Every day it checks the playbook: - Big trend: Are stocks (SPY) and long bonds (TLT) in uptrend/downtrend (via multi‑month averages)? - Heat gauge: RSI = a simple “hot/cold” read of recent gains; high = overheated, low = washed‑out. - Weekly leaders: Which choices are strongest over ~1–4 weeks. Risk‑on: mostly SOXL (3x semis) or TECL/TQQQ. Too hot: briefly switch to UVXY/VIXY (volatility funds that pop when fear rises). Risk‑off: use 3x inverse bears (SOXS/SQQQ/SPXS) and/or Treasury trades (TMF/TMV). Sometimes oil/energy, Brazil/India, or the US dollar if they’re leading. Very high risk; big swings.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this semis-focused strategy targets ~54% annualized returns vs SPY’s ~22%, with Calmar ~1.38. Expect larger swings and max drawdown ~39%, but dynamic hedges and regime-switching seek big upside while managing risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
