A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A daily, high‑octane swing strategy. It reads “heat” (RSI) and bond/commodity trends to flip between 3x semiconductor/tech longs (SOXL/TQQQ), volatility spikes (UVXY/VIXY), or bearish/3x Treasury plays (SQQQ, TMF/TMV). Extremely high risk.
NutHow it works
It rebalances daily using a few simple ideas: - Heat gauges (RSI: a 0–100 “hot/cold” scale) on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq - Trend of long US bonds (TLT) and a stock trend filter - Commodity/stress checks Decisions: - If stocks look “too hot,” bet on a volatility pop (UVXY/VIXY) - If they’re plunging, use bearish or Treasury 3x funds (SQQQ/SOXS, TMF/TMV) - Otherwise, ride semis/tech with 3x funds (SOXL, TQQQ/TECL). Extremely aggressive.
CheckmarkValue prop
High-growth potential with risk discipline: out-of-sample annualized return ~39% vs SPY ~22%; Calmar ~1.18. 3x tech/semis, volatility, and Treasuries target superior upside with larger drawdowns—ideal for growth-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
