About

A rules-based, tech/semiconductor-heavy strategy that rides uptrends with 3× funds (TQQQ/SOXL), parks part in short Treasuries when fear rises, and can briefly flip short (SQQQ/SOXS) on extremes. High-risk, tactical, trend-and-dip focused.
NutHow it works
It mainly rides big tech and chip stocks using 3× funds (TQQQ for Nasdaq; SOXL for semiconductors). When the market is trending up, it stays long. If prices look overheated or fear jumps (using UVXY, a fund tied to market “fear”), it scales back, parks ~30% in T‑Bills/Bonds (BIL/SHY/BSV), or briefly flips to the bear side (SQQQ/SOXS). It uses a simple “hot/cold” gauge (RSI): low = buy dips; high = avoid/hedge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tech/semis strategy targets outsized upside: ~62% annualized return vs S&P ~21.7%, with hedges that limit drawdowns (~43% vs ~19%). Calmar ~1.46; Sharpe ~1.17—strong risk-adjusted gains despite higher volatility.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
