About

An aggressive rules-based rotation. It buys volatility when stocks look overheated, buys 3x equity when oversold, and otherwise rotates among tech, Treasuries (long/short), commodities, gold, and the U.S. dollar using trend and relative-strength signals.
NutHow it works
It splits money across three rule-sets. 1) Uses a short-term “too hot/too cold” score (RSI: 0–100) on big indexes: if very hot, buy volatility (UVXY); if very cold, buy 3x stock funds (TQQQ/SPXL/SOXL); else follow a bull/bear model. 2) A 6‑month macro check pairs tech with bonds, commodities, gold, or the U.S. dollar, sized by recent volatility. 3) A bond‑trend model rotates among tech/healthcare, bond bull/bear, or T‑bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~41.8% annualized vs S&P 21.6%, with Calmar ~1.49 and diversified regime-rotation across tech, bonds, commodities, and volatility. Higher drawdown (~28% vs ~19%)—fits risk-tolerant investors seeking outsized upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
