About

Aggressive rules‑based swing‑trader of semiconductor ETFs, flipping between 3x bull (SOXL) and 3x bear (SOXS) on simple hot/cold readings, with a small defensive sleeve in Costco/UnitedHealth or cash; sometimes shifts to gold, dollar, or index hedges. High risk.
NutHow it works
It swing‑trades semiconductor funds using a “temperature” gauge called RSI (0–100). Hot (>75) → bet against semis (SOXS, −3x). Very cool (<41 on 2‑day) → bet on semis (SOXL, +3x), unless still too hot. When unclear, side rules pick USD funds, gold, or market hedges using dollar trend, bonds‑vs‑cash, and S&P 500 hot/cold checks. A small “Meat Shield” buys Costco/UnitedHealth when calm; else parks in T‑bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample semis strategy offers ~59.5% annualized return with Calmar ~1.15 vs SPY’s ~20%, but ~52% max drawdown. Ideal for aggressive investors seeking outsized growth with active risk management.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
